The most expensive gaming mouse, the Cyborg RAT 9;
Jeez, this is one ugly mouse, I tell you, you wouldn’t let your mum use it, that’s for sure. The men in white coats would be round to take you away. No, seriously, this is like $120 dollars, reduced!! What the… Reduced, One hundred and Twenty bucks for a mouse. It’s shockingly good tho. The Cyborg Rat 9 Review
The best gaming mouse for the money, the Logitech M705;
We are cheapskates and we figured some of you were as well, so we’ve snuck in this little slinky office number; perhaps you could get one on expenses? It has enough buttons for Call of Duty to be comfortable….. The Logitech M705 Review
The Best Gaming Keyboard, the Logitech G19;
If you ever wanted to watch a movie on your keyboard then boy are you in luck, with its 240 pixel display you can expect some high resolution 1080p viewing. LOL, no, seriously, this is the keyboard of gaming keyboards, really, this should come with a health warning. Our Logitech G19 Review

G9x Gaming Mouse
The Logitech G9x
Gaming Mouse(The Best Gaming Mouse Price – $49.99 )
I have added extra weight to the mouse, a full 28g, as I cannot see the point of buying it if you aren’t going to use it fully, the extra weight helps with the feel greatly. Perhaps i’d better NOT drop it on my foot with all that weight onboard.
The Dual Mode scroll wheel allows precise selection when required yet can spin like the moon if you ask it. A simple light click down alternates between the 2 modes. Hyper Scroll – Click to Click.
Down to the important part of the review, The gaming; Now that you’ve shelled out anything up to $100 Bucks for the fine beast of a rodent now twitching in your hands, it’s about time we told you about it’s game playing assistive abilities, and they do not disappoint.
For this part of the review we obviously require a game, so, one of my favourites, Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2 is loading, and I pile straight into my favourite map,Overgrown; I notice straight away how well the mouse glides on the gaming mat, pure smooth slipper feet made from teflon are no doubt the reason, but I can tell you this, it is super silky smooth. It even works fairly well on the bare desk and my slacks so no worries there.
The mouse is as accurate as you’d expect from a G-Series rodent, with the 5700dpi sensor seemingly underwhelmed at my playing ability. At a little under 4″ x 3″ in size it is a full size mouse, with yet another plus point being the Logitech G9x’s ergonomic design, even after an hour of play I can hardly feel any strain on my wrist or fingers.
Logitech have also quoted a polling rate of 1000hz, pretty darn quick, so absolutely no problems with communications lag, and the potential 165″ second tracking ability is not only beyond my arms, but well beyond the reach of this, and most likely any, desk.
The G9x is an Optical Laser Gaming Mouse, which means it uses a Laser and Sensor that read the surface the mouse is gliding across, with a superior 5700dpi engine the accuracy is stunning and a relative maximum acceleration of 30g is enough to make sure the pointer sits exactly where you ask it too.
It’s Windows XP, Vista and 7 Ready, Plug and Play if you feel like doing without the SetPoint software, which I would personally recommend.
In conclusion, the Logitech G9x Gaming Mouse is without doubt an excellent piece of Kit, capable of not least impressing your friends but also making your gaming experiences that bit more enjoyable.
Thumbs up from The Best Gaming Mouse.
G500 Mouse Review
The Logitech G500 Mouse Review(Best Price – $51.95 )
Logitech is an established and reliable brand for mice, ALL mice, so we can
skip the foreplay. You know as well as I do that this mouse is well built and has excellent support, the shape of the G500 mouse, one of the best Logitech laser mice, has been smoothed out over the years, is similar to several other popular mice in the range. If you haven’t actually held one in your hand you’ve missed out on one of the best mouse form factors out there. The scroll wheel, as it’s often been said, is excellent; the scrolling is almost frictionless and can be lightening quick, if the program or game can handle it.
The Logitech G500 Review;
The G500 mouse is based on the award winning G-Series G5 Mouse, and just like its former stablemate it has a total of 10 buttons; the left and right
mouse button have a responsive and immediate action, and in between these we find the famous and unique Dual Mode scroll wheel; the button hidden craftily behind the wheel disengages the clicking mechanism, allowing the user to scroll incredibly fast. It’s not called a Hyper-Scroll wheel for nothing. Using the included Software, SetPoint 6.20 it is possible to program each button to a separate keystroke or keyboard macro so you can have access to that favourite weapon at ease, it is also possible to use a programmable button for switching dpi resolution settings on the fly.
In terms of size this is one of the larger Logitech laser Mice, the G500 is considerably larger than the G9x, it is also slightly above average in terms of weight, which can be further increased using the adjustable weight
system. This allows the user to add up to 27g to the mouse. The ergonomics of the mouse make it much more appropriate for gamers who use the palm grip, although we found it suited all users comfortably.
This gaming mouse shares the same 5700 dpi Laser sensor as the G700, and the G9x which are the highest resolution mice that we have ever tested. The Logitech G500 mouse performs very well whilst gaming, as
you can quickly switch dpi settings, customize through the excellent software and move between profiles whilst playing different games. Essentially, with the Logitech G500 gaming mouse, you still get the customizable weight kit, the comfortable grip, the cleverly positioned buttons as well as the very high 1000 MHz polling rate in the laser sensor, to ensure smooth accurate cursor tracking, but without the price tag attached to the G9x.
The Logitech G500 Settings Review;
With the Logitech G500, tracking and action is excellent regardless of surface. The mouse itself is attractive and the shape is beyond reproach. The gaming mouse G500 is one of the worlds premier mice; it’s comfortable, feels like it will last forever and comes with the strong foundation that is Logitech. I personally was so impressed with this that I find myself using it more and more. It has it’s own built in memory as was mentioned before, which can hold the settings to your favourite game. It is easy to setup and saves a great deal of time when allocating keyboard shortcuts to the individual mouse buttons. Do it just once and the mouse remembers. It even works if you go to your friends house to play.
The Logitech G500 Conclusions;
At just $50 Dollars the G500 ticks ALL the boxes, it is every bit as responsive and adjustable as the G9x, both in weight and button usage;it feels great in use and has the same legendary customer support.It almost makes you wonder why you might purchase a G9x?

Even after several hours constant use, no team member complained of wrist strain, an important factor, which, when coupled with the keen pricing and 1600Dpi resolution makes this, our number 1 choice.
The positioning of the buttons on this, one of Logtiech’s top gaming mice, have been designed with the advanced gamer in mind. Razer Naga
Razer Naga, ($69.00)
The Razer Naga with it’s distinctive curves, and it’s highlighted mouse wheel, is one of the most attractive mice on the market today.
The Razer Naga has 3 different lighting areas; the mouse wheel, the macro buttons and of course the all important logo. The top of the mouse is covered in a rubber finish popular with the majority of high end Gamers.
Razer Gaming Mouse
One of the main features we found on the Razer Naga were the 17 Massive Multiplayer Online, MMO, Optimised buttons, the numbered buttons on the side keypad are preset to the keyboard numbers, all of these buttons are exceeding responsive and reuqire very little pressure to use. This doesn’t mean that you’re likely to click them accidentally as they are well positioned and provide just enough resistance to prevent this. A clever Razer gaming mouse.
The Razer Naga performed very well whilst gaming; its tracking is impeccable and there was no sensor lag whatsoever, having a complete surround of Teflon on the base of the mouse means that it glides very well. Handling short quick movements especially well.
It should be mentioned that the drivers and software do not come with the mouse, they must be downloaded from the Razer website, but at 14Mb it won’t be too much of a problem. Once downloaded you have the option to turn the Logo light on and off as well as change the Dpi from 100 - 5600 Dpi and of course, much more.
On test the Razer Naga performed extremely well when it came to MMO’s, the mouse could move as well as hit all targets, with just the use of the right hand, though the keypad does take some getting used to initially, we found after about 20 minutes it was easy to remember where that all important button was. Once mastered this mouse is hard to beat.
On the downside the lack of an in-game Dpi Switcher as well as the in-ability of the Razer Naga to shut off the keypad could be sighted as a lack of forethought on behalf of Razer. However, this in no way affects the performance and use of this mouse.
Razer Naga, Razer Gaming Mouse;
All in all the Razer Naga is a great product, aimed somewhat specifically at MMO gamers, even though it performs well throughout most genre’s of games. Priced around a similar level to a lot of other gaming mice, this Razer gaming mouse is ideal for those who are serious about MMO’s.

Logitech M705, ($31.00)
This, the Logitech M705, at just over 4 inches long, is a tad smaller than some mice, but not quite on the laptop scale. A light ergonomically designed shape aimed towards right handed users, it proves a comfortable mouse, even though it is small in size.
Logitech Wireless Mouse
Get ready for one of the smoothest scrolling experiences with the Logitech M705 mouse. It’s has a 3200dpi laser for tracking.
This Logitech Wireless mouse has several key features to make you want one:
* an amazingly long battery life of three years
* an attractive shape
* a selectable scroll wheel
* a small size and low price
* an attractive shape
* a selectable scroll wheel
* a small size and low price
These speak for themselves.
It’s a very aesthetically pleasing mouse; you can swap the batteries; and it has the very clever multi-use scroll wheel.
Once you have used the M705 mouse, you are not going to want to use your old mouse again. The M705 uses a high power 1000dpi laser rather than the lower models 800dpi laser. The connection to your PC or laptop is through Logitech’s new tiny unifying receiver. It simply plugs into your laptop or PC’s USB port. It is so small it even fits beneath a Panasonic CF-18 USB port cover. There are only a few Logitech devices that currently use this receiver.
The Logitech M705 is a darker colour than previous models. We consider it to be Grey.
The Scroll wheel is effectively a freely rotating scroll wheel with an optional lock to make it act with a satisfying click between movements, providing smooth feedback and a click for each partial rotation. Without the click lock on, the scroll wheel is then capable of spinning at exceptional speed. The M705 mouse allows those long web pages to wizz effortlessly up and down the page.
So, the Logitech M705 is also fast and it has pin accurate movements.
The mouse accepts AA batteries in the battery compartment in the base, (two AA batteries are included).
Combined with a strong set of features, and looks that could fit in the office environment or be equally at home on a gamers desk, the M705 excels in all areas.
